TBKART launches 2025 Racing models

On the occasion of the 2025 CIK-FIA homologation, TBKART is introducing a series of updates across its entire Racing product range. The main innovations concern the braking system, with new homologations and revised components aimed at improving both efficiency and reliability, alongside modifications to structural and aesthetic elements.

The flagship model S197M, primarily used in the Shifter categories but available in both single-speed and geared versions, features major developments—particularly in the braking system. TBKART is introducing two new homologations: 004-BRKF-10 for the front braking system of Shifter karts, and 004-BRKR-90 for the rear system of both the Shifter and Single-speed versions. Noteworthy among the updates is the optional 180 mm rear brake disc, replacing the standard 192 mm version, and the increase in the front disc diameter, which goes from 140 mm to 150 mm. The rear brake caliper now features pistons with a reduced diameter (from 30 mm to 28 mm) and an integrated magnet to ensure better return of the pads to their resting position, eliminating any unnecessary friction. The brake calipers have been completely redesigned, with a focus on airflow management to improve cooling in the most demanding conditions. The revised brake disc carrier, now equipped with a double-screw system, improves fastening and alignment, while the front caliper features new brackets. Also debuting is a new design for the aluminium bearing supports and, in the single-speed version, an aluminium engine mount that is now independent of the chassis and no longer welded to it.

The S197M chassis comes equipped with KG 509 bodywork, new sticker kits, and a redesigned steering wheel. The S55M model, which sees greater use in single-speed categories (but is also available in a Shifter version), adopts all the updates mentioned for the S197M. These include the two new braking system homologations, the optional 180 mm rear disc, the redesigned brake calipers with improved airflow management, and the double-screw brake disc carrier. On this model as well, the rear caliper pistons have been reduced to 28 mm in diameter, and the new aluminium engine mount is no longer welded to the chassis.
The rear axle bearing support has also been improved with a revised design, and in the Shifter version, the S55M is fitted with the new 150 mm front brake discs and redesigned front caliper brackets. The upgrade is completed by the KG 509 bodywork, a refreshed sticker kit, and an updated steering wheel design.

The DD2 model, developed to meet the requirements of the geared category within the Rotax one-make series, incorporates the same updates introduced on the other chassis. This includes the new brake system homologations, the optional 180 mm rear brake disc, redesigned brake calipers with improved cooling performance, the double-screw brake disc carrier, 28 mm rear pistons, and updated front brake caliper brackets. From an aesthetic perspective, the DD2 also features the new KG 509 bodywork, an updated graphics kit, and a redesigned steering wheel.

The Monster model, designed for all MINI categories, has also been updated with the introduction of the new KG MK27 front spoiler and the 2025 model year graphics kit.
